Coffee Morning - Saturday 6th February 2010
As ever this will take place in the Kirk Hall Callander and will feature cast members presenting a few of the songs from our next show - 'Pirates of Penzance'. Tickets will be on sale nearer the time.
Concert Night at Balquhidder Village Hall - Saturday 16th January 2010
This will be a reprise of our Unchained Melodies concert highlighted below. Ticket will be on sale nearer the time.
Concert Night at McLaren High School - Unchained Melodies
This year's concert at McLaren High School will take place at 7.30 p.m. on Friday 6th October. Tickets, priced £5, will be on sale at the National Park office in Main Street, Callander, or can be obtained from any member of the Society. The programme will include a selection of songs from next year's show, 'Pirates of Penzance'.
Pirates of Penzance Sing-along
There is a charity sing-along pf Pirates of Penzance taking place at 2 pm on Sunday 16th August 2009. The event, which takes place in Fintry Sports Club is in aid of Strathcarron Hospice and costs £10 to take part. The format of the day is that participants can sing aong to all of the songs in Pirates of Penzance and afterwards stay to watch a performance of the show - this starts at 5.15 pm.
Ian Milligan would encourage as many members as possible to take part as it will give us an early opportunity to practiuce sngs for next years show, as well as raise funds for a worthy cause.
Rehearsals for Pirates
These will start Monday 14th September. Location and starting time (as usual) - McLaren High School at 7.30 pm.
Monday rehearsals will take place every week with the followoing exceptions:
12th October 2009
14th December 2009
21st December 2009
28th December 2009
15th February 2010
Pirates of Penzance
The show will run from Wednesday 10th Mach to Saturday 13th March 2010 in McLaren High School, Callander and will include the usual Saturday matinee. Ticket prices will be £9 with £7 concessions available for the Wednesday, Thursday and the Saturday matinee performances.
